It’s official! Pottermore is now open to the public!

According to a post seen on the Pottermore Insider, they will be activating new registrations over the coming days in a steady stream. Go to Pottermore.com to sign up.

After you’ve signed up, you’ll get sorted into one of the four Hogwarts houses, have a wand choose you, and discover exclusive new writing from J.K. Rowling. In addition, you’ll be able to purchase Harry Potter ebooks and digital audio books at the Pottermore shop.

Click here to see a sneak peek of Pottermore. You can also see this video on the Pottermore site.

If you want to know our initial thoughts on Pottermore when it was still in beta, click here to listen to Episode 75. You can also see our Pottermore usernames there as well.

Let us know what you think of Pottermore in the comments. Do you like it? Or not? Would you come back to visit over and over again?

I am a chemist by training and education, having completed a Ph.D. in Natural Products Chemistry in 2000 at Clark University in Worcester, Massachusetts, USA. I was a Ruth Kirschstein NRSA post-doctoral fellow at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I've been out of the chemistry field since 2007 and have been working as a church organist ever since then. I also serve as copy-editor for SQPN.com.
